The EcoFlow Alternator Charger Plus 1000W is designed to turn driving time into charging time by using surplus energy generated by a vehicle’s alternator to recharge a compatible portable power station.

Compared with conventional vehicle charging through a cigarette-lighter socket, the Alternator Charger provides substantially higher charging power, with up to 1000W output in charging mode. EcoFlow states that it can replenish 1kWh in approximately one hour under specified conditions.

The charger supports both 12V and 24V vehicle electrical systems, making it suitable for a wide range of vehicles including SUVs, pickups, RVs, 4WDs and boats.

A major advantage of the 1000W model is its integrated solar charging input. The unit supports up to 300W solar input, allowing alternator and solar charging to be combined for greater flexibility and reduced dependence on alternator power.

The Alternator Charger Plus 1000 also provides three operating functions:

Fast Charging Mode ? charges compatible portable power stations at up to 1000W.
Reverse Charging Mode ? can transfer energy from a compatible power station back toward the vehicle battery system.
Battery Maintenance Mode ? provides lower-power battery maintenance.

This makes it particularly useful for long-distance travel, overlanding, RVs, camper vans and mobile off-grid power systems.
